Annual Christmas Party!

Every year we have a big christmas party with our friends and at each one we have a white elephant gift exchange. These photos surfaced this year from last years christmas party. Brad opened these sweet red pleather pants and he couldn't resist the urge to try them on and strut his stuff for a captive audience! Thanks Steph!

This year I ended up with this little puppy!

Per Libbie's request I am finally posting our pictures from our cruise.

I have been waiting for my friend to email me the pictures

that she has so I could post those too but it is taking a while.

Anyways in November we went on a cruise to

the Eastern Caribbean and enjoyed a week of sun, food,

snorkeling, food, spa treatment, food, dancing, pina coladas,

shows, and more food! My kind of vacation!

Spiderman obsession

Well since the Buzz Lightyear costume 'didn't work' Gunnar moved onto Spiderman. He has worn this costume for three weeks straight! Night and day! I make him wear regular clothes to school but literally the second he walks in the door his clothes come off and the Spiderman suit goes on. I had no idea that boys like to dress up just as much as girls do!

So we just got Gunnar a Buzz Lightyear costume for Halloween and as soon as we walked in the door he stripped down, put the costume on and began lifting everything with his 'super strength'. Then he began jumping off of the furniture saying "To infinity and beyond!"

After a couple of times he started to get frustrated.

I obviously didn't understand what the problem was.

He kept saying, "It isn't working!" Then he broke into tears,

ran to his room and threw himself on his bed bauling!

You try to keep a straight face when you are trying to explain to your child that just because he is wearing a Buzz Lightyear costume that doesn't mean that he is going to be able to fly...I couldn't.

The funny thing is it really looks like he is flying!

TAGGED! My quirks!

Okay so Missy 'tagged' me! The Rules are... tell about 6 quirks of yours and then Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same, be sure to leave a comment to let them know.

1. I always leave the last bite of my meal on the plate. I have no idea why but I have always done it. I don't consciously think "leave the last bite" I just do it without thinking about it.

2. I have a freakishly long tongue! I can easily touch my nose with my tongue.

3. I can do a mean raptor impression. (Raptor as in the dinosaur with long chicken-like legs, tiny arms, beady eyes and it walks around squawking)Yes one of the many priceless talents I developed at college. I made the mistake of doing in front of Brad's family right after we got married and now all my nieces and nephews beg me to do it EVERY year at our family vacation. I look hideous doing it but it is always good for a laugh!

4. I always have to have a project going...making curtains, painting, building a sandbox(I used the skill saw and nail gun by myself! I was so proud!) making a bedding and pillows for my kids' beds, crib sets, etc. I have to accomplish something each day plus I love a project to work on after the kids go to bed.

5. I have a crazy nose...it pulses when I blink, my nostrils flare when I laugh really hard, and if you push on it it's pretty squishy, not as stiff as others.

6. I always have snacks! I think it is because I am always hungry but no matter where I go I have a bunch of snacks in the diaper bag.

A day of firsts!

Jadyn had quite a day of new things. First

she went to kindergarten and got to ride the bus for the first time.

Then later got to go to the dentist for the first time. Finally

in the evening she had her first soccer practice! What a crazy day!

So we have been going contsantly this summer!

So the next few posts will update you on what we have been up to.

It all started with our Beauchamp family trip to Coeurdalene Idaho.

Brad's parents rent a house there every year for a week.

We had a blast as usual! Here are a few pics.

Of course the adults have to have a turn on the tubes!

Pioneer Trek

This is right before we left for the trek. You can tell because we are CLEAN!

So Brad & I were called to be a Ma & Pa on our stake's pioneer trek and as 'excited' as we were to go trekking through the dirt and sagebrush in 100 degree weather for four days we actually had a great time! I am serving in the Primary right now and so I haven't had the chance to get to know a lot of the youth in our ward and we had a great time together! I felt like I was back at girls camp!

5 going on 15!

I can't tell you what a drama queen Jadyn is already. She is obsessed ,and I mean obsessed, with clothes, make up, accessories, and music. I am not exaggerating either! She takes longer than I do to get ready!

She wanted some new clothes so being the 'con artist' that she is she pulled the, "Mom...we need to go spend some time together and have a mommy daughter date." How can I say no to that! She usually wants to get pedicures or go shopping. So we went shopping and she walks around the mall like she owns the place saying, "Oh, I love that... I love that... I've got to have this I'm just CRAZY about it!" I think she has seen way too may episodes of

Hannah Montana and Saved By the Bell.

I am scared to death for the teenage years...BOYS!!

Chanel is 5 months old now and the cutest baby!

She looks just like Jadyn did.

Preschool Graduation

graduated from preschool after 3 years.

She is an October baby so she will be 6

when she starts kindergarten.

Sorry for the kiddie porn! So the funny thing about this picture is that this was all his doing. He hates clothes and so he likes to run away after he gets out of the shower. The other day I found him sitting on the curb naked! Anyways this was one of those occasions and I found him in the garage riding his bike so I went and got my camera. I told him to smile and of course he had to flash the horns, but he had a golf ball in his hand so he set it down between his legs and it worked out perfect and censored the pic for me!
If you haven't figured it out yet Gunnar is a handful! He sure keeps things interesting and gives me lots of picture moments. One morning he woke up early and decided he was going to make himself breakfast. He was so proud of himself, when I walked into the kitchen he said, "Mom I made a picnic!" He is definitely all boy and always has some type of bruise or scab on his face. This one was a particular doosy! He managed to drag his face across the asphault.

Yes I am alive! I can't believe that I haven't posted since March! I'm going to do some catch up posting.

Every year we go to a Mariners game in Seattle with Brad's family.

The kids love it because they get to go down on the field and see the players!

I was so excited to have my best girl friends from Utah visit for the weekend!

My friend Amanda is a photographer so she took some really cute pictures of Chanel while they were here.

A weekend with the girls is just what I needed! Plus they each brought their youngest babies with them so it was a lot of fun to see them.

Our baby girl Chanel has finally arrived!!

I had her 2 weeks early on February 19th at 6:40am.

She was 6lbs 8oz and 20 inches long

My smallest baby yet but perfect in every way!

You can tell from the picture Jadyn loves having a new baby in the house.

She is constantly wanting to hold her and kiss her.

As far as who she looks like, we got out

Well when I have a baby my mom comes and stays for a week to help me get back into the swing of things and with 3 kids now I need all the help I can get!

While here Jadyn of course wanted to play beauty shop and made her get dressed up in that fabulous red dress and she did her hair, make up and painted her nails hot pink!

Well I thought Damon did such good job on Libbie's pictures that I asked him to do some for me as well. I got these taken when I had 5 weeks left, now I only have 3 weeks! Though today I ended up in the hospital, unfortunately with false labor!!! Getting sent home from the hospital sucks!

Disneyland!

We hadn't been for a couple of years so we decided to go to Disneyland before we have another baby. We wentwith our friends the Eaton's and had a blast! I love the roller coasters and I was kindof bummed that I might not be able to ride any rides, but 7 months pregnant I put on a jacket to hide my belly, sucked in and I got on every ride!

Girls trip to Seattle

Finally after 7 years of marriage Amanda, Stacey and I took a girls trip! With having babies and everything it has never been a good time so with Stacey and I both pregnant and Amanda's Beau so little this was the perfect time. We had a blast shopping, eating, going to Pike Street, eating, shopping and eating some more! It was great and I can't wait until the next time we get to getaway! Hopefully not another 7 years!

I'm not really sure why but there are pigs all over Seattle so we took some pics with them.
Beau was the best baby! He slept all day while we shopped and never made a peep!

Golfing

One of our favorite things to do as a family is to go golfing.

Since Brad goes all the time by himself the kids always want to go too.

Gunnar is already well on his way to being a golfer;

all he ever wants to do is take Jadyn's golf clubs in the

backyard and hit ball after ball after ball.

We really need to get him his own set of boy clubs.

Jadyn is a good little golfer too, but she gets frustrated because she can't hit the ball as far as her little brother because he practices all the time and she doesn't.

Lasson Family Vacation

This summer for our Lasson family vacation my family came to Kennewick!

We enjoyed a few days of boating, fishing and shooting.

Gunnar's favorite part of the river is riding on the jet skis.

As long as we go fast and jump the waves!!!

Visit with cousins

I am really late on posting these but oh well! My neices come and stay with my in-laws for a week every summer and these are just some pictures from when they were here>

We did a lot of swimming while the girls were here and this was just a cute one I got of Jadyn and Gunnar. The kids took swim lessons this summer for 3 weeks and got very familiar with the pool. By the end they were doing canon balls off the side and swimming to the edge without life jackets!! Huge improvement from the fits they threw at having to go under the water at the first few lessons. Of course Gunnar had to mix it up and attempt to do 360s off the edge. Lets just say he wasn't able to make it all the way around but it was pretty funny to watch.
This was when we went to the bounce arena.

Can you believe that I am finally posting again!?! Crazy summer!

Anyways this is the morning of the 10K that I ran with my mother-in-law (who is 61 and incredibly fast! Talk about humbling!) Annie, Stephanie, Libbie and Damon. We were all training for our first half marathon(Libbie's second) until Libbie and I got pregnant and ended up being too sick to keep running. We are just going to have to try again after we are done with this pregnancy. Yes I am pregnant with baby #3! I am still a little freaked out about being out numbered but I have until March 2nd to get used to the idea.

The Cruise

In April Brad & I left the kids for the first time and we on a cruise to the eastern caribbean for a week with our friends. We missed the kids but we had a blast! We came back fully rested from our many naps by the pool and with a few extra pounds from all the food we ate!

Gunnar rocking out to Sweet child of mine! Gotta love Jadyn's sweet princess watch he is wearing! Everytime we turn on the music Gunnar starts to head bang so Brad taught him how to make the rock on sign with his hand, now he does it all the time.

Gunnar is obsessed with going fast! He is like Ricky Bobby (from the Will Farrell movie) as a kid he is always yelling, "Go fast mom!" In the boat, the car, the stroller, in the shopping cart...he is obsessed!
